The Quantum Free combines all the requirements of ambitioned touring. The little brother of the Free Pro, with its slightly softer 110 Flex, is geared towards all advanced freetourers who don't want to sacrifice comfort and efficiency during the ascent, but want great performance during the descent. The redesigned IF Touring Sport liner makes contact with the foot. The PuRE(Polyurethane Recycled Enforcement)technology, which consists of three layers, ensures more efficient force transmission to the shell, firm grip around the heel and great comfort. The Dalbello Autofit technology with a memory foam tongue adds to the excellent fit regardless of foot shape. The Quantum range’s two hallmarks ensure high shell stiffness and overall low boot weight: the two-part bonded shell construction with anatomical heel shells and the new eXtra Dual link cuff provides direct power transmission during the descent and sufficient freedom of movement during the ascent. The New Elastic Gaiter also facilitates handling and entry and exit together with the Quick-Hook-Release function on the strap, while a Vibram Dual Density sole provides improved grip when walking and no loss of contact with the binding. And when it comes to sustainability, Quantum Free also knows how to please: The entire liner is PVC-free and the outer layer of the PuRE construction is made of recycled polyurethane.

This, depending by the conditions, can increase the lateral surface area of the lug by 50% and can improve traction properties by 25% on different footing surfaces, compared with a traditional design
• Durastep: New Vibram rubber blend with improved grip capacity and longer durability
• X-Dual Link: The two-piece dual link cuff allows more than a 65° range of movement, and can take the skier into touring mode instantaneously upon releasing the walk mode at the rear of the boot
