The two outer shell components provide additional cushioning in the hindfoot area as well as foot guidance and direct energy return in the mid-and forefoot areas. The integrated carbon reinforcement additionally minimises energy loss and prevents sharp objects from penetrating the sole. The one-piece upper and light-weight tongue eliminate unnecessary seams and thus the risk of friction points. Padding in the collar and heel areas provides an optimum balance of comfort and flexibility. The Lowa® Trac® sole with its slightly twisted studs provides the requisite traction on all types of terrain and when moving quickly.
