Bought 2 (beige and grey). They are quite comfortable and are a bit more on the classic side (than sporty). Love them!

Front pockets are not as deep and there is no velcro on the side pocket and the waist is a little tighter.still a quality product.

The rich colours and tough fabric of these shorts have made them some of my favourites over the years and now the shorter length (7&quot; -- just above my knee) is a great update to them. 

I do find this generation of the AP short has a bit less stretch and give at the waist, even though I&#x27;ve sized up. But they&#x27;ll break in with a few washes! 

Recommend.

Material is really nice, feels durable. Theres a second hidden pocket on the front right of the shorts that aren&#x27;t very visible, but good for small things.
