Super comfortable , the plastic plate adds stability. Design is now similar to the SC elite V4. Great for small runs or excellent entry level for beginners. If you wear insoles don’t forget to size up

Great daily trainer !

The Propel v5 is a very different shoe than the v4, but still works well as an all around daily trainer. The foam is a lot softer and the nylon plate is a lot more flexible, rather than the stiffer, more rockered v4. The soft foam stiffens up nicely when running though and the v5 works well for easy runs up to around threshold. However, it&#x27;s a little soft and lacks the pop to be an ideal shoe for top end paces. Overall, a nice cushioned shoe for staying comfortable on your daily runs.
My main issue is that the sizing seems to run a bit small, especially around the big toe. I ordered the same size as my Propel v4 (12 Wide) and it ended up causing some rubbing on my big toes. Should have gone up 1/2 or a full size. Other than that, I&#x27;ve really liked running in these.
