My wife and I bought this on a deep sale specifically for backcountry hiking. I have used this tent for about 10 nights so far. It is a great tent if you are trying to keep your weight down - for 950g it provides dry, comfortable room for a couple, but it is a little snug at the feet end. Setup is a bit tricky at first with the interior brow pole, but after a few runs can be done quickly and easily single-handed. Know before buying: - This is a single wall design, so you need to be thoughtful about setup to ensure adequate ventilation and avoid any condensation. I always set up with the door facing the prevailing wind and have had no trouble. One still morning while in the open I had just a hint of dampness on the interior walls, but otherwise has been dry. I have had not problems with the waterproofing and it has been dry in heavy rain for me. It is semi-free standing, and must be staked. Each of the major guylines attach high and low onto the tent and allow for fine-tuning to keep the interior open and helps with ventilation at the foot end - this is a nice feature. Vestibule is small. Very quiet with little buffeting on two very windy nights. 
Overall we are pretty happy with this as a backcountry hiking tent. There are obviously some compromises made for weight, but it shaves a lot of pounds off our other 3p tent. However since we bought this there are some alternatives: e. g. Big Agnes Fly Creek UL and Mountain Hardwear Nimbus UL

Niche tent - lightweight hiking or thru-hiking

This is hands down the most horrible experience I’ve had with a tent. I realized that TNF are good with clothing but not with outdoor gear/accessories with this purchase. The fabric is so SOOOO thin even on the floor (it’s actually the same as the walls) so it’ll tear very easily. The pole that goes inside is very difficult to maintain in place (I cannot imagine doing this alone you absolutely need to be 2 persons) and the only thing “keeping” the pole in place are tiny velcros. Keeping is a strong word because they simply don’t keep the pole in place and the pole falls down on the floor or your face. 
Then there’s the matter of the flooring fabric I mentioned earlier : it’s thin. And when I say thin I also mean that again there is nothing holding the I side pile (it’s only by “pressure”) so guess what happens when a pole is kept on a thin fabric with pressure ? After ONE USE, it’ll poke a hole. 
I’ve had better experience with Decathlon, which I’ve always found a bit cheap so this TNF tent is ridiculously cheaper.
