You’re looking at the Padded Hat-a serious piece of winter headwear made as part of Gramicci’s collaboration with Japanese design masters and wander.

Sort of like a cold-weather version of the classic angling hat, it combines the tried-and-tested bucket hat shape with padded nylon fabric and some reassuringly toasty fleece-lined ear-flaps. The fabric has been given a water resistant coating too to keep the rain drops at bay. A true fisherman’s friend, that’s not just for fishermen…
