This is a sold bag. We got it to use for sports equipment when kids need to haul it themselves to school. It’s a good size for that (for elementary school kids).

Good bag

Size and interior are great, however I prefer the super durable material of the north face duffels a bit better. Actual bag carrying straps are nice but they create a bit of discomfort when wearing in backpack mode. Would rather just carry the duffel with the backpack straps if needed.

Very durable bag! The material/zippers are not flimsy and the quality of the stitching is great! The straps are padded enough such that it’s comfortable with a ~15lbs load. I purchased it for an African safari and will not be concerned with the dust as the fabric is coated and can be easily wiped down. When not loaded to full capacity, it meets international carry-on dimensions. It has a very streamlined designed (e.g., no smaller zippered pockets that is accessible without unzipping the main compartment… there isn’t anything to hook stuff too so, not as great for carrying gear like the Patagonia Black Hole). I do prefer the simplistic design for what I will be using it for.
